Hello and welcome to Strebor Great Danes! We hope you enjoy looking through our site. My name is Susanne C.
Roberts-Phillips. I am a groomer, a trainer and an artist. I  run a  home based pickup and delivery grooming
service, called Clip-N-Go.  I also offer basic obedience classes. We are located on 111 acres of pines, pond, and
pastures 52 miles east of Macon, Georgia just over the county line of Johnson County just off of Hwy 57. I fell in
love with Great Danes as a child, it wasn't until my mid-twenty when I decide to take upon having one. I have
enjoyed and loved the sport of purebred for almost two decades.   At the age of 15,  I got my first AKC purebred
dog. She  was a beautiful black full coated Cocker Spaniel named Pepper. She died at the tender age of 5 with
heart failure.  She was also blind by the age of 4 with PRA. There is no doubt in my mind that she was a product
of a back yard breeder. I vowed to never buy from a back yard breeder ever again and thats why I believe in
testing.

I'm a very active member of the Great Dane Club of the Mid-South of  Atlanta, Ga, the  Macon Kennel Club  of
Macon, Ga and the Therapy Dogs Incorporated. I am the Trophy Chairmen for both of my clubs. We  enjoy but
limited to the sports of conformation, rally and obedience. My daughter Courtney B. Roberts started her Junior
handling in 2007. We also enjoy educating young children in after school programs teaching them  responsible
dog ownership and I also do a news article in my local newspaper called DOG GONE IT, News column for
canines in mind to help educate the general public about responsible dog ownership.

We take breeding very seriously. We will occasionally breed and when so we do it for our own purpose. We are  
firm believers of the color code of ethics, betterment of the breed and we do necessary testing on all our
breeding Danes.   Our Danes are our #1 priority.  Temperament, Health, Soundness and Conformation are our
goals in our Danes.  We  believe in happy, healthy, friendly and socialized goof balls. Our Danes are 100% RAW  
fed. We  believe this is the best for our dogs. If raw is not possible we do suggest Orijen: 70% Meat; 30% Fruit,
Vegetables and Botanicals; 0% Grain. Besides silly, grains are for cows. They say, "You are what you eat".

We may have puppies or adult dogs for Pet/Show Homes or Rescues for adoption occasionally.  All pet quality
puppies/dogs will come with a spay or neuter contract. To be consider for one of our Danes, an online application
must be filled out, NO EXCEPTIONS. All puppies are raised under foot, socialized with children, rabbits and
cats. We suggest for all puppies to be picked up rather than shipped, if not possible,we will consider shipping at
an extra charge. Danes are not for everyone, we recommend that you do read the Great Dane Standard, do your
homework and research before getting a Dane. They need socialization and training from day one. A lot of
Danes end up at the pound and rescue due to owners neglecting in training, socializing and not really
understanding the breed because they just had to have one, like yesterday. Have you tried looking into
